From Rhiannon Chavez (Cousin)
To My Cousin Tommy
Words can't express how much I miss you. You are always in my
thoughts, heart and in my dreams. It's amazing how no matter how
far apart we lived from each other, we always knew how much we
loved one another. I will always remember the last day we spent
together, It feels like it was yesterday. Tommy, I still feel
your hugs, and hear your wonderful laughter. Remember Christmas
when we went to the Wherehouse and used all of our gift certificates.
You would ask me what CD's I liked and you would buy them. Tommy
that meant so much to me. You cared about the things I liked.
We weren't little kids anymore, you treated me like a adult, like
a friend. That day when I found out you were no longer here with
me, it was the worst day of my entire life. I just wanted to wrap
myself up in your hugs, those hugs that will last a lifetime.
It's been almost two years and the pain doesn't go away. However,
the memories are forever and my love for you will never die. I
feel a special spiritual connection with you Tommy. I know you
are around me all the time. I know you hear me when I call out
your name. I want you to know that I will always be there for
your mom, your dad and for Michael. I love them so much. Tommy
thank you for all of those memories, all of those laughs, all
of the dances and most of all those warm, comforting hugs.
Love Always,
Rhiannon
